Home Style Hash Brown Casserole

Cheesy and delicious describes this home style hash brown casserole !  I think this is good as a side dish for dinner or breakfast.   This makes a large casserole so sometimes I just divide it in half and freeze half  to bake later.

I have been making this casserole for 25 yrs..and have put it in a local cook book ..& have given it to many people. The only difference is that i put a crumb topping on it..which is melted butter & crushed corn flakes.

    • I got this recipe about 25 years ago too! Everyone loves it and it so easy. I like to freeze half of it and bake later so its a great make ahead dish too!

I make it using cream of mushroom soup and shredded cheddar instead of cheese soup. I combine melted margarine and Ritz crackers for a crumb topping. Delicious!
