Here is how to microwave bacon

To microwave bacon, put 4 or 5 sheets of paper towels on a microwave safe plate.  Lay 4 or five slices of bacon on the paper towels.

Place another layer of paper towels on top of the bacon and repeat the layers until you have as much bacon as you want to cook, ending with a layer of paper towels on top.  You can actually microwave a lot of bacon at one time this way.

Microwave a few less minutes than the number of bacon slices you are cooking.  For instance, if you microwaving 6 slices of bacon, then set the microwave for 4 minutes and then check, adding  an extra minute or two as needed.  If you are microwaving thick sliced bacon, you will have to microwave longer.

  1. I’m going to have to try this, I HATE cleaning up after frying bacon!! And I love the fact that the grease gets absorbed into the paper towels instead of into me – haha11
