Here are six wines that have been offered by Velvet Palate.  All of these wines are from boutique producers who use grapes that are hand harvested from old vines.  The wines have this old-vine depth with layers of dark fruit and complexity.  The red wines should be decanted 1/2 hour before serving.  Then the aromas and flavors further develop and open up to a lovely fruit driven wine with well-balanced acidity and structure.

I love the fact that the company has a team of qualified experienced wine tasters, and one of the services it offers is the “virtual sommelier”.  As a member you are free to ask questions about your wine preferences – within 24 hours the company’s in-house sommelier will respond with a wonderful wine solution.
