Vickie Meets Marc Mondavi – Charles Krug Wine Tasting

Just left a fabulous wine tasting at Bin 51 in Edwardsville, IL.  Bin 51 gets 5 stars from this wine lover!  Charles Krug Winery ( Napa Valley’s first winery – established in 1861 ) was the featured winery tonight.  It was a pleasure to meet Marc Mondavi ( pictured with me) who is a proprietor of this historic winery.  We enjoyed all of the Charles Krug wines and left with a case of the 2009 Merlot and a few bottles of the 2011 Sauvignon Blanc.  Both are great wines at a great price.  Looking forward to my next trip to Napa Valley and a visit to this great winery!
