Make Life Special launched on July 31, 2012.  It was a dream and passion of mine to share easy and creative recipes that even the beginning cook can master.  I hope to inspire people to get back into the kitchen and to enjoy gathering friends and family into their homes to share great food.  

Most of my special memories in life center around my family and friends and also great food.  If we think we are too busy to cook and share our homes with others, then we are missing out on great opportunities to  make new and special memories.

All of the Make Life Special recipes are quick and easy.  Most of them have very few ingredients and the ingredients are readily available.  No one wants to spend a lot of time tracking down some ingredient they have never heard of.  Most people now look at a recipe and if it has more than 5 or 6 ingredients, they are not going to make it.  But beyond that, the recipe has to taste and look good.  That’s the whole point of cooking.

So, let’s cook!  Let’s share great food with our family and friends! Let’s enjoy life again!
