Prime Rib with herb blend crust and horseradish sauce is the perfect food for this red, Cicchitti Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon. The flavors of this red really come alive when youdecant the wine prior to serving. It’s a robust, masculine, thrilling wine that spent 12 months in French and American Oak before its release. It exhibits an opaque, purple hue, and shows toasty oak, spice, pencil lead, and black currants on the nose. Layers of ripe, sweet fruit linger in the mouth which pair well with dish of the week- Prime Rib! We love this recipe from our food contributor, Vickie, and hearted the complex flavors of the wine coming full circle with the flavorful meat.
